I have had numerous range of experiences down through the years. From shop work, care assistant, trainee nurse and currently my childcare cleaning roles. From all these jobs/ courses I learned numerous skills and gained a lot of experience working with both old and young people. In my shop assistant work I would have gained a lot of communication skills in how to treat and respect customers. This also gave me great insight into how a business is run from the ordering and checking of Stock, customer relations, producing good stock displays, how to arrange a shop window display, checking daily cash takings, recording them and depositing money in the bank.Also working in both a care assistant and trainee nurse role I learned how to communicate effectively with sick patients and learn to emphatise with them. How important it is to keep the hospital/ care setting clean and hazard free.Now I am a Mum to two teenage boys nothing prepares you for those lovely teenage years but that's life😉.I did a full time HND in Early Childhood Studies course a few years back when my children were younger. It was very hard to balance home and college life but I did it and gained a good qualification. So I became good at delegating jobs to my sons to help me out during my college time. Currently I am a childminder to a two year old boy. I enjoy the job find it very satisfying love looking after little ones and teaching them how to do daily tasks. For instance tidying the toys away when they are finished playing. Making sure they wash their hands if they were playing outside. This can be a chore in itself to undertake but you get great satisfaction when the child does it.Also I clean a holiday home as and when required. The house holds 14 people so I usually clean once they have left. The summer holiday season can be a busy one. As when one set of guests leave another maybe arriving the same day or early the next. From what I outline I have a range of skills.
