I began my Career with Ferran Engineering Group in 1992 when I Graduated from the University of Central Florida. I worked my way through various accounting positions within the company including accounts payable and job billing. In 1999, I took the position of Utilities Division Manager where I worked with the procurement and service representatives of various Utility Companies (including FPL, FPLES and PE/Duke both DSM and De-regulated) in relation to Energy Management and Power Quality Programs providing primarily electrical services. In 2000, FEG became Ferran Services & Contracting, Inc. In my capacity as Util Division Manager, I was able to further develop relationships with additional Utility Companies including the Orlando Utilities Commission and New Smryna Beach Utilities Commission. With a government focus on Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy Initiatives, I was able to position Ferran in a way that allowed us to utilize multi-trades, adding duct & insulation services to the mix. During that time I also wore the hat of Customer Service Manager and in March of 2010, added the role of Electrical Division Manager to my responsibilities. In 2011, I was named Vice President of Finance & Administration and the following year became CFO. It is a role I feel my career with Ferran prepared me for well. I relish the day to day responsibilities of my position including accounting, operational, technological and supervisory. In my current capacity, I maintain all transactional Financial aspects of the company and work very closely with the owner, Dolph Marmetschke, in identifying and realizing both operational and financial goals for the company both current and future. With 226 employees, four service trades (HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing & Efficiency) commercial and residential, I am challenged on all levels daily.
