Member of the DCPEP program management team responsible for modernization projects for DC Public Schools including design, construction, cost and quality control management.Successfully managed design and construction of major interior renovation work of existing school buildings and new classroom additions:- Phoebe Hearst Elementary School ($34 million)- Horace Mann Elementary School ($38 million)- Powell Elementary School ($40 million)

Managed design and construction of laboratory build-outs for principle investigators of the National Heart Lung and Blood Institute (NHLBI).Also performed space planning by overseeing and allocating space assignments of research programs for the principle investigators in the NHLBI.

- Construction and Change Order Management: coordinated with designers, contractors and owners for the project, oversaw construction activities, formulated and monitored change orders- Cost Estimating: prepared cost estimates of change orders, evaluated and negotiated proposed change order costs with contractors and administered contract modifications - Managed Client Expectations: communicated construction activities, associated duration, costs, and customer impacts to the owners and building tenants

- Security Upgrades: oversaw design, installation and testing of physical security systems - Historical Preservation: drafted and managed historical preservation scope of work ($5 million), performed cost estimates, and negotiations of total historical preservation cost with contractors
