I have started my own business as a marketing/pr consultant. Other services include grant writing, fundraising, and web content development.

I directed the overall communications strategy for the Congressman's office, including print and electronic media, targeted and mass communications, and public scheduling for the Congressman. I served as his primary spokesman, drafted press releases, newspaper columns, weekly radio shows, media advisories, publications and other communications. I led major outreach and community projects including organizing annual How to Pay for College events and How to do Business with the Federal Government forums. I spearheaded our award-winning website redesign and contributed content and ideas.

Senior reporter for the Delmarva Peninsula's largest daily newspaper. Supervised two other reporters and prioritized assignments. Wrote award-winning investigative series and covered regional and state stories from Baltimore and Annapolis.
