My previous role as a Career Agent with KRA Corporation allowed me to advance into a Business Services Consultant role. I provide outreach and assistance to businesses in multiple targeted industries providing a full range of value-added services to meet businesses workforce development needs. As a Business Services Consultant I treat my employers as individuals by offering business customers recruitment, conducting analysis, and developing comprehensive service strategies, including linkages to appropriate partners and community resources. I deliver innovative solutions, exceptional service, and trusted results. I have worked collaboratively with both the Workforce Innovative Opportunity Act (WIOA) and the Expanded Subsidized Employment (ESE).My goal with my business customers is not only filling their open positions, but also restoring the businesses’ reputation and exposure as a good place to work. Employers come to me for information on how to thrive after the pandemic. In their current situation, they might be held back by low wages, not offering flex time or childcare and marketing exposure. They are afraid or don’t know how to take that first step in rectifying those situations. I educate my employers on current wages set by the Labor Board for the County of San Diego and encourage those that can, offer remote work or a hybrid schedule. I connect them to various partners and resources they can partner with to provide daycare for their employees. I promote their open positions with flyers, job fairs, etc.Prior to this, I was a physical therapist, athletic trainer, physical education teacher, athletic coach, personal trainer and competitive athlete. In addition, I have experience and expertise in Applied Functional Science® which combines manual therapy and the combination of the physical, biological and behavioral sciences for functional assessment and treatment. I use scientific principals me to treat the biomechanical compensations that are often the cause of symptoms. Strategies can be generated from these biomechanical compensations to produce personalized techniques and exercises that a patient/client can utilize to achieve their personal goals.San Diego has been my home for over 30 years. I contribute to my community by hosting various charity events throughout the year benefiting Athletes for Education, San Diego Police Historical Society, and Sports for Exceptional Athletes. I also lead seminars and workshops on injury prevention, rehabilitation, and performance enhancement as well as teaching Balance and Fall Prevention classes.
