I am an authentic leader with over 30 years executive sales experience in a wide-breadth of markets, including Education (K-12, B2B, Higher Ed.), Consumer Products (Retail, Mass Merchandisers, Food Service) and Government Relations. My expertise and passion includes developing and leading strategic initiatives for sustainable, long-term growth.After 30+ years as a Sales Professional, I’m embarking on retirement, or as I like to say, pursuing interests on my own terms. Through my career, I’ve fed people (Tropicana/PepsiCo); provided quality materials for student achievement (School Specialty), created opportunity for student 21st Century Learning Skills development in an enriched and safe after school environment (Knowledge Universe); provided access to second language and altered a course for literacy in our country (Rosetta Stone/Lexia/Cambium). I refer to my work as “neighborhoods” that I helped to build. What I’ve learned along the way — our future is bright — I believe that EQ (Emotional Quotient) is equally (if not more) important as IQ (Intelligence Quotient) — I believe that whatever your journey looks like that it takes a village to be successful. Thankful to my grandfather (career Army, Financial Officer) for helping John and I set our vision on a life plan. I’m so excited for what this next chapter will bring….maybe some contract work on my terms, adventure and being more present with family and friends for a start.
