About Cathy Browne

I wear many hats – and I’m often seen in them as well.I’m a blind photographer, storyteller, disability advocate, motivational speaker, community builder, and fledgling stand-up comic. I got my dream job at CBC Vancouver at the age of 66 last year. I currently help produce The Early Edition, the weekday early morning radio show. I also created and produce a monthly column on disability issues called Access Denied.Telling people's stories, on radio or through my photography, is what inspires me and makes me happy.
