As part of Ballard's Intellectual Property group, was the solo technical librarian for Ballard Power Systems, developing the company's reference collection, helping engineers and business staff track down information and documents, and performing business, scientific, and technical literature searches including patent searches. Enhanced the company's internal library database for better searching, and developed a competitive intelligence tracking database and a IP-related contracts database.

Provided one-on-one and classroom instruction in the use of electronic databases available at and through the UBC Library's Social Sciences and Humanities Division. I also developed the handouts and other instructional materials I used when teaching.
