ARE YOUR CONVERSATIONS MAKING A DIFFERENCE? ARE YOU *HAVING* THEM?Our most important conversations are often the hardest – the ones we *must* have in order to bridge a gap.It might be a gap defined by culture. Or expertise. Or technology. It might be a gap defined by silence... perhaps one filled with anxiety, misunderstanding, anger, or shame. The difference you want to make? It's on the other side.YOU WANT TO CHANGE YOUR WORLDAnd you suspect it’s not marketing you're looking for.YOU want to find ways to create understanding. Connection. Real, human *engagement*. To change your company. To change your people. To change your world.IS THIS YOU?What you know is complex. Nuanced. Hard. Maybe it's technical. Maybe it's detailed. Maybe it's loaded.Maybe you’re faced by a fog of assumptions. Stigma, perhaps. Or stereotypes. Or stories that have outlived truth. You want to create change – but you've got to get them to listen first. You need them to hear you. You need them to ENGAGE.ME?I've been a scientist, an educator, a librarian, a patent researcher. I'm a business owner, a writer, a speaker, a helper. But most of all I’m a communicator and a strategist. A listener. A perspective taker. A brainstormer. A pathfinder. I can help you chart a path to creating the change you want to see in the world. One that navigates the complexity of human emotion, stories, and assumptions. One that is strategic, yet intensely human.COULD WE BE A MATCH?I'm not for everyone of course. I'm geeky. Irreverent. Eccentric. Funny ha-ha, and funny peculiar. I do not believe in absolutes. I do not claim to have a "formula".But I have an approach. I think it works.CURIOUS? Then please, reach out. Check out my website at cathychiba.com. Send me a message. Start a conversation.I'd love to hear from you. Let's talk.

Did the "really nasty" searches no-one else wanted to do. Was repeatedly successful in finding key pieces of prior art and other information needed for litigation, negotiations, and decisionmaking relating to Creo's technology and products. Show less -
