Faculty Director for CASE, the Center for the Advancement of Social Entrepreneurship (www.caseatduke.org), as well as founder and chief executive for CASE's impact investing program, CASE i3: The Initiative on Impact Investing, at Duke University's Fuqua School of Business (www.casei3.org).Since 2011, the CASE i3 Initiative on Impact Investing has worked to establish rich set of resources and activities for MBA students, entrepreneurs, investors, funders, academics, policymakers and others to explore and support the field of impact investing. CASE i3 has been recognized as one of the top five programs in the world for impact investing education, research, and practice.As Faculty Director of CASE, I have taught social entrepreneurship and impact investing to MBAs for over 16 years. Served as the faculty co-lead of SEAD, a member of USAID Higher Education Solutions Network. SEAD was created as a learning accelerator to support scaling the impact of global health social enterprises addressing needs of low to middle income populations in East Africa, India and Latin America. A joint initiative between CASE at Duke, Innovations in Healthcare, and the Duke Global Health Institute, SEAD has operated in partnership with other Duke schools and departments and outside groups including Strathmore Business School, Investors' Circle, and Calvert Impact Capital.
