As Program Director, I lead the process of creating great work that's custom tailored for the client's needs. I get to wear many hats and continually evolve my skills and experience creating content, writing, design, and establishing strategy, timelines and processes. I see my role as having one foot in the client's world and the other with the creative team. Having both perspectives allows me deliver exceptional work with a focus on the client's needs. Contributing content and managing the design process for websites, eBooks, digital ads, print ads, marketing collateral and social media means that I am fully immersed in the projects and see each one as my own. I love studying the strategy and watching the campaigns progress, analyzing their performance and pivoting to address the new needs. Responsible for overall operations, budget, and marketing for the Hatfield School of Government, including website content, social media and communications. • Managed a five million dollar budget, supervised staff and directed the operations within the university's complex infrastructure. • Managed team of 4-6 people who handled overall operations for the School including recruitment, admissions, student inquiries, faculty and school operations and budget.• Created and implemented the School's first marketing plan resulting in increased exposure and awareness for the School's programs. I initiated social media, targeting specific audience groups through diversified channels. I planned and promoted all school events including annual conference in Carmel, CA. • Recruited by the Dean of the College for my marketing efforts at the school, I designed and wrote content for college-wide promotional materials including banners, program flyers and folders.

Initiated social media, garnering thousands of facebook followers and building a LinkedIn profile for alumni & community engagement. Instituted online application system, later adopted university-wide. Planned, staged and co-wrote ECE Professors’ Ukelele graduation performance.

Nike World Headquarters - Beaverton, Or

Managed workflow of 15 design teams, including designers in Oregon, Europe & Asia, numerous freelancers and contractors, overseeing approximately 1,000 graphics a quarter, 25 projects a week. Created content sharing & process tools to work with global counterparts that were then adopted throughout Nike apparel.Chosen to lead this group due to proven expertise in creating successful cross-functional teams and balancing the creative with practical results through project management.

First person at Nike to be hired for this new position overseeing entire global design operations in apparel. Directed staff of 3 Production Art Managers and team of 20 production artists across Global Brand Apparel organization. Managed design operations for apparel, graphics and illustration. Implemented new global design process across all regions which included project management, building a design library and training approximately 100 people.Established roles and responsibilities for all positions. Worked with HR to update job descriptions, compensation and coaching/review/discipline process.Led transition from regional to global design teams, including setting up processes to support a global organization, establishing best practices, creating global file sharing and communicating new processes throughout global team. Included partnering with IT, creating process, influencing, documenting and communicating process globally. Partnered with Design Operations Director with content and execution of Design Operations Summit in Holland to coordinate operations globally.

Managed production art team. Managed the creations of all visual tools throught the design process. Supervision of up to 8 production artists in addition to freelance. Responsible for hiring, reviews, evaluations and corrective action.Relocated to Oregon by Nike to manage Men's Production Art team. I was one of the First Production Art Managers and the first Production Art Manager in the Men’s Organization. Developed the structure, process and organization for the team. Implemented new working processes for the group and re-designed primary visual tools.Worked with global counterparts and Image Operations to create consistency for Nike global catalogs. Led staff in following production requirements, hitting deadlines and achieving excellence in our work. Work with sales group to ensure files are structured correctly for web-based sales information.

Relocated to NYC by Nike as Senior Production Artist for Men's SDS team. Designed all internal presentation tools throughout design process. Designed textile prints. Illustrated SDS line for catalog. Created schematics for prints and apparel. Wrote all copy for internal presentation materials including consumer marketing information, design inspiration and illustration detailing.

Sent to Europe for Global Men's Tennis Design meetings and worked in EMEA for 6 weeks to prepare for design review with new European designer. Created all presentation materials including inspiration boards, line-art & merchandising pages. Illustrated men's global tennis line. Regular travel to Europe to work with the Nike Designers.Designed textile prints for Nike apparel including designs worn by all Nike Men's Tennis athletes such as Andre Agassi, Pete Sampras and Lleyton Hewitt. Created schematics for textile prints and graphic tees.

Created all presentation materials for Men's Tennis design season including inspiration boards, line art, and merchandising assortments. Scanned and digitized designer sketches.
