Her role in DFS is focused on the identification and development of a pipeline of solutions to address unmet needs in the textile market for apparel. Cathy has been involved in piloting and managing a process developed by Advanced Industrial Marketing (AIM). The AIM process provides a focused, results and customer-driven approach to identifying opportunities for innovation. Her work is instrumental in shaping the future offerings for DFS, including the introduction of a new product, Dow AYRXX™, a textile for performance apparel.

Cathy began her career with DuPont in 1982 and held a number of business management, sales, marketing and manufacturing positions for nonwovens and branded industrial and apparel fiber businesses. She relocated 4 times during her 22 years at DuPont and worked in a number of market segments in addition to apparel, establishing a track record for profitable growth and innovation. Her experience includes selling and marketing branded materials such as Tyvek®; Nomex® and Lycra®.
