CurrentRuils is a charity that supports disabled people, older people and individuals who use mental health services to live independent lives. Responsibilities:• Responsible for the strategic direction and operational implementation of Ruils business programme working with the Trustee Board,• Working with staff, volunteers, clients and trustees to develop and deliver a 5-year strategic business plan,• Developing a diverse fundraising strategy including community fundraising, grants, trusts and chargeable services,• Working with the Treasurer to set budgets, identify shortfalls, make efficiency savings, plan fundraising activities and monitor expenditure,• Writing and delivering tenders for contracts, bid writing and initial stage planning of all new contracts and projects,• Developing, implementing and maintaining human resources, finance and marketing policies and procedures,• People Leadership including recruitment, supervision and appraisals, team building and effective communication, identifying training and development needs for staff and volunteers.• Quality Control: developing and ensuring that quality assurance, risk management, performance monitoring & client feedback systems are in place and integrated into daily practice,• Developing and implementing Ruils web and social media offer,• Promoting the organisation and its activities locally and nationally.Key Achievements:• Successfully completed the Goldman Sachs 10 000 small business growth programme (2016),• Transformed Ruils from a small, volunteer based group to a robust contract delivering organisation,• Initiated and delivered a community fundraising strategy increasing revenue by 3000% over a 3 year period,• Obtained and maintained ISO accreditation,• Ruils – Highly commended 2017/18 and Winner of the 2011/12 Best Charity of the Year Award (Richmond).
