Over 20 years experience in the Pharmaceutical Industry, over six years of this in the area of clinical quality assurance. On graduating with a BSc hons in Chemistry started work in 1991 at ICI as a research chemist. In 2000 moved career direction to work as a CRA based at AstraZeneca HQ, managing the set up and maintenance of all phases of clinical trials within the oncology area. Later moved within AstaZeneca to Clinical Quality Assurance, with responsibility for GCP site and systems audits, developing audit programs for large multi-national phase III projects and providing ICH/GCP and SOP advice to global teams. Left AstraZenca in 2008 to join ADAMAS Consulting as an International Quality Consultant and was promoted in February 2011 to Principal Consultant.
