Operations Manager at CDMS Inc. I have been the lead contact person at this organization since February 1993. I have overseen, managed and directed 30 General releases of the CDMS software during this time period. We moved the software media from Tapes to CD distribution in 2005 which saved the company a minimum of $2500 a release. I developed an internet update feature in 2006, which allows the CDMS software to update any intermediate software patches through the internet. Previously any intermediate patches would be sent via a Modem, tape, diskette or CD. We continue to publish the general release on CD to avoid sales tax issues with various states.I work as the corporate controller, handling all expenses and budgetary considerations.I work with all the new hardware, testing it to make sure that it supports the SCO Open Server Operating Systems or now the Red Hat Enterprise Linux v 7 and v 8 operating system.I developed the changes needed to our software to enable it to run on the SCO Cloud. The changes allow our software to be run, and updated properly on a Virtual Machine running Open Server 5.07v or Open Server 6.0v, as well as RHEL v7 and Rhel v8. Through this working relationship with SCO CLOUD I have gotten very comfortable with the various VMWARE packages including VMplayer, ESXI and Essentials. CDMS is also a SCO Cloud Authorized Silver Partner Reseller.I migrated our software to the Red Hat Linux Enterprise v 7 operating system in 2018 and are now operating on RHEL v8.

Day Data Systems took over the CDMS software support and development from DuPont in 1990. I continued my support of this project and began working on the SCO Xenix and SCO Unix operating system. We began phasing out the support of the Digital Equipment Corporation PDP-11 machines at this time.I still continued to work on the Digital Equipment Corporation VAX-VMS computers that 20 of our customers had in place. They continued on these machines until 2000. I still have a MicroVAX 3500 in our office that I use for programming, because VMS has an Excellent Debugger. Have never found a better one on the various operating systems I have worked on.

Was hired at DuPont to work on the CDMS Software package. CDMS was a project under the Fibers Division of DuPont. The software was distributed initially to their VANGUARD dealers, and they tracked Sales of their fibers through the software. This ability still exists. The VANGUARD dealers, at the time, were the largest and most influential flooring dealers in their respective markets. CDMS still supports many of these original flooring dealers, that have continued to support the CDMS software for 40 years now. CDMS was first released in 1982 on a PDP-11 computer.I was hired for my experience working on Digital Equipment Corportion VMS operating system running on VAX and MicroVax computers. This was the newest platform that Dupont supported and desperately needed an in-house VMS specialist.

Worked as one of 2 staff VAX COBOL and DTR32 (DataTrieve) programmers on the needs of this Civil Engineering company. We programmed everything from Human Resource programs such as tracking employee hour per job, EEO reporting, Customer Invoicing, and ESOP distribution reporting. WE also generated Reports that showing construction schedules for the McDonnell Douglas PPM which was later purchased by Primavera. We also worked on a Database to track construction of Nuclear Power Plants, as this company performed inspections.
