Since 1978, Szymanski Consulting has helped local businesses formulate a strategy to maximize IT investments, design and maintain network infrastructure, and implement complex multi-vendor solutions. Cathy also has a passion for service and is a member of Kiwanis since 1993, serving as a board member and officer for the Kiwanis Club of Erie. In 2005, Cathy served as president of the local chapter and was elected lieutenant governor of Kiwanis Division One in 2007. She has been recognized in many ways for her involvement in Kiwanis: Cathy is a distinguished lieutenant governor, region one trustee, zone administrator for the Pennsylvania District Key Club, co-secretary Kiwanis Club of Erie, past distinguished governor of the Pennsylvania District of Kiwanis. Cathy's service extends beyond Kiwanis when it comes to working for and with children. She's a past board member for the Pennsylvania State Police's Camp Cadet Booster Program, has been on Erie’s Promise Advisory board for 7 years, the Healthy Youth Development Advisory board, Safe Kids and the Advisory board of Erie Skate Board Association and currently serves on the "Racing for Kids" board and Community Shelter Services board. Additionally, Cathy is treasurer for the Happy Scrappers Quilt Guild, an Erie Ambassador, member of the Erie Orchid Society, and a member of Toastmasters.Cathy is a member of the Technology Council of Northwestern Pennsylvania.
