PhD project: VineMicrobiome: a deep analysis of the natural microbial community of Vitis vinifera.My research focus on the study of complex microbial populations associated with Vitis vinifera. The main goal of this research is to study the variations on the natural grapevine microbiome consortium of V. vinifera over the vegetative cycle, to understand the microbial interactions between phytopathogens and beneficial microorganisms that naturally co-habits with plant and to identify and characterize potential beneficial microorganisms from and for grapevine protection.
