This may sound cliché, but I am as genuine as they come, so I really mean it when I say I love what I do. I am all about working together to find that special idea or vision that will spark excitement and make an event or program special.A creator at heart, I earned my Studio Art degree at Sam Houston State University (SHSU). While there and planning campus events, I discovered my passion for organization, planning, leadership and event design. Since then, I have gained invaluable experience in the meetings, events and association management industries and have honed my skills as an event producer, strategic problem solver and leader. I have been with IMM since 2009 and took on ownership in 2022; my many hats for both the company and my clients include Chief: Marketing Officer, Financial Officer: Operations Officer, and so on. I am also the host of “So Many Places to Go” podcast for meeting and event professionals, and serve as a host and moderator for live and virtual events.In addition to this experience, I have formed wonderful relationships with established professionals and service providers to bring the best in the business to any engagement. As for the IMM A-Team, we continuously train, participate in professional development, and remain involved in professional organizations. We are on top of the latest trends, best practices and technologies, so our clients receive the best possible value and service. I sincerely feel blessed to have the opportunity to use my strengths to help others in meaningful, and impactful ways. I serve on the Board for the Houston Society of Association Executives (HSAE) and I am a member of Meeting Professionals International Houston Area Chapter (MPI-HAC). Outside of events and management, I love teaching dance to kiddos, volunteering, traveling, spending time outside and hanging around with friends and family.
