I managed and was responsible for the care of patients within the community setting, on a daily basis visiting clients in their homes often caring holistically for those with highly complex care needs. This role was an ever changing one, I fully embraced and contributed to the continual change process within our working culture, utilising the contemporary research available to myself to ensure the advancement and improvement of services in line with contemporary best practice. A large part of my job entailed the coordination of multiple professions coordinating patient care, experience and outcome. I made the decision to leave Nursing in order to Pursue an active research role within a company, armed with practical skills and experience .

I worked on a busy ward specialising in caring for patients with advanced dementia. This was a highly demanding role with Many elements to it. On a day to day basis my role encompassed client care, staff organisation, muti professional team liaising. This position enabled me to strengthen my communication skills, work effectively and well under severe pressure and also taught me how to actively implement best practice in a highly changeable.
