PinChen is a design company with diverse projects. During my one-year internship, I had the honor to take part in a guesthouse project in Liuqiu island. The project carries a sophisticated design development from the architecture exterior design to floor plans, elevations, ceiling designs, and outdoor design. The design was an outcome resulting from thorough site analysis as well as a personal interpretation of its beautiful marine culture.Skills such as presenting and communicating design ideas with clients, creating an effective design on a limited budget, drawing lighting and electrical plans, and making 3D renderings were some of the learning outcomes from this project amongst many others. The experience here has made my design decision-making more mature, constructive, and effective.

The work experience included designing AutoCAD residential floorplans, creating customer-specific visual posters, picking out interior lightings and furniture, and preparing documentation and slideshows for client meetings. It was a great opportunity to understand the thorough process of creating a house⎼construction, floorplans, furniture pickings, material selections, on-site inspections, and post-occupancy evaluation.
