CurrentMy job is to build communities of inclusion for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities in Ohio through Best Buddies' proven programming.•Doubled programs in the state through volunteer development and engagement•Developed strategies for social impact by working with national teams to fundraise and implement awareness events across the state; raised more than $2 million through special events and other fundraising•Developed and grew statewide Advisory Board of Directors with 100% participation in annual giving•Partnered with local nonprofits and government agencies to enhance opportunities for people with IDD in our communities• Responsible for all state operations, including staff management, finance review, and budgeting• Developed a national Individual Giving committee and created a monthly giving program• Chaired national staff leadership program for up-and-coming staff at Best Buddies International (Leadership Best Buddies)• Chaired National Champion of the Year Five Star Team to provide insight, develop strategies, and support staff across the nation in their key fundraising events•Certified facilitator of the Guiding Principle for Success (GPS for Leaders) management training for managers at Best Buddies. Facilitated the first round of management training for 15 managers across the organization.
