I researched and wrote live reviews of bands and artists and worked to tight deadlines.

Filming and editing short news and entertainment pieces, writing up articles for the website and posting on our social media posts. I also co-host a movie podcast.

I write up local music events, review albums and features for the publication. The website serves as a way to promote local artists and events.

This is a great forum for writers, who are given the freedom to be frank on certain subjects and bring humour to writing. For louder than war I was fortunate enough to do daily reports for Leeds Festival and I am currently working on entertainment pieces for the website.

Since October I have been reporting for the show. Interviewing acts that visit Leeds and speaking to local artists in the area at live music events. Recently, due to guideline changes, I now have to donate packages that I have created, to the programme.

This magazine is a specialised local magazine, championing events, people and businesses in Leeds. My role for Leeds Guide was to write up live reviews and conduct interviews. The magazine went into administration in February 2012.
