The key project undertaken during this engagement was the requirements gathering and management of a tender process for an Electronic Document Management (EDM) system to be procured for the University, to move to online document storage solutions and robust offsite archiving and confidential waste destruction. The tender process needed to fit with the specific procurement guidelines required in Higher Education and involved stakeholder management up to CIO level as well as with business units, legal and procurement.A second project run concurrently was to rapidly roll out new laptops to several hundred users requiring more modern devices to work in a new office with USB-C docking stations. The task required business analysis to identify existing asset data sources from several different systems and enhance it with targeted user surveys, to establish individual application requirements and trace existing devices with no single source of truth, as well as recruiting and managing a temporary team of engineers to build and deploy laptops. Also responsible for handling all user comms and scheduling.This role involved significant levels of business change management and end user engagement.
