In 2007 I introduced plant based, compostable food packaging to South Africa. With my environmental and humanitarian background, I made the leap into the highly competitive food packaging industry and over the years have become a thought leader and dedicated driver of change in this arena. I have been asked to speak at numerous industry leading events such as Food Next Africa, the Organics Recycling Association of South Africa's seminar on Bioplastics, Event Greening Forum's Event Greening Training and many more. I have also been interviewed by some of SA's top media such as Cape Talk, Entrepreneur Magazine, Popular Mechanics and Getaway Magazine to get my opinion on compostable food packaging as a viable solution to some of the massive environmental issues we are facing on a global level. My goal is to help businesses become more GREEN and environmentally sustainable by supplying them with food packaging solutions that are made from renewable, plant based raw materials and are compostable, in keeping with leading trends and innovations in green packaging.
