The Baltimore Teachers Union created Baltimore Schools for Baltimore Students: Bringing Back Baltimore One Child at a Time (B3), a program with the goal of retaining our current students, re-enrolling students who have left, and recruiting new students into the school system. Working in partnership with the Office of the Mayor and Baltimore City Schools, B3 Advocates conduct a door-to-door canvass with the goal of inviting parents and guardians to place their school-age children in Baltimore City Schools.B3 Advocates have three objectives:1. To identify, inform and welcome prospective enrollees;2. To connect with families who have left BCS, and re-enroll those children;3. To raise awareness about high-quality educational programs and resources available within Baltimore City Schools
