Assist with registration for Girls on the Run for coaches, participants and volunteers This includes managing pinwheel site to keep information updated, coach training, background checks, ordering supplies for participants and other duties. I also train our coaches in Red Cross CPR/First Aid, perform general administrative duties, assist with in person coach trainings and the 5K’s for our events.

Substitute Teacher- Teach the lesson plans left by the permanent teachers when they are unable to come to work. Work with all grade levels in the Kent Intermediate School District.

I worked as an Independent Consultant selling Tastefully Simple food products. I am not an employee of Tastefully Simple. I host parties, attend expos and do on-line sales. I make contact with persons interested in our products and motivate them to either become a consultant or host a party and earn free products.

School Based Outreach Specialist- I work with schools in the Grand Rapids, Rockford and East Grand Rapids School System, educating them on the various local resources that are available to aid the families of their students, helping them to identify families that could utilize these resources and then assist those families that are referred, in accessing the appropriate resource(s). Young Delinquent Intervention Program (YDIP)- After completing an internship in this department from 06/06-04/07, I now am a Case Manager. I work with juveniles 7-12 who have been placed on formal probation with the Kent County Juvenile Court. Provide in home family therapy, school visits, co-facilitate Kids Groups and Parent Groups. Write and prepare reports that are submitted to court, the Probation Officer and others. Give court testimony. Family Intervention Program (FIP)- Case Manager for families referred by Kent County Children’s Protective Services. Provide in-home counseling services to parents and their adolescent children experiencing severe stress and problems.

During after hours events I am in charge of event staff. Ensure the safety of event attendees and staff, write reports and collect monies.

Enforce hospital policies, Federal and State statues, and local ordinances. Provide security and protection for hospital property, employees, and patients.
