2015 – 2017 Training and Development ManagerIn this role, I was responsible for fully understanding business strategy and objectives and leading a team of eight. I created and managed all learning and development activities across the business. I managed a significant budget and ensured that this was fully utilised across the businesses and gained the maximum return for the investment. I continually researched, developed, devised and update learning and development policies and procedures ensuring they are fit for purpose and achieved intended objectives. I coordinated significantly with the IT department to further develop and implement a new SAP HCM system. 2007- 2014 Training SpecialistAs a Training Specialist, I was responsible for fully understanding the customer requirements and objectives to ensure the training being delivered was innovative and covered the specialist technical and soft skills needed. This involved performing a thorough training needs analysis, identifying and evaluating training gaps and further developing the training programme. I also continually reviewed the e-learning programme, introduced new concepts and learning programmes to ensure the learner was receiving up to date and relevant training.In this role I also established a new Performance Management system and integrated new processes and procedures into everyday working practices by ensuring all staff were fully trained. I successfully managed an e-learning programme from concept to completion which was then expanded across the organisation. I designed and delivered Assessment Centres to evaluate and measure job applicants for internal vacancies. I created, marketed and conducted training to overseas telecommunications companies to encourage industry best practice.
