I have worked in the financial services industry since superannuation was a brand-new concept, and every transaction a manual process and watched the industry evolve over this time with a lot more product offerings along the way. I love helping every day Australians work out what they want their lives to look like and then back step to fill that in with the appropriate financial strategies to make their wish list come true.Helping out pre retirees so they maximize their savings for when they decide to no longer work and that they are fully aware of whet that will look like financially to provide peace of mind for them.Majority of my clients are retirees and I am there to hand hold them through all the changes to their situation and legislation to ensure they remain on track and fullfill their dreams. Afterall life is about the accumulation of memories. Sadly that sometimes means entry into permanent aged care and that requires a relook at their finances to best navigate this and reduce costs and preserve capital where possible. I've recently worked with the member engagement team on a series of video for all super members on managing cashflow and various strategies we can employ to help them along the way be that a divorce, inheritance or redundancy and the value that advice along your journey can improve the overall financial situation.This year I have been invited to join the FY25 Challenger Retirement Distribution National Adviser Council and I am forward to learning from peers outside my organisation and the contribution to development of products to meet the needs of our increasing retirees.
