For me, Design is about creating positive impact through smart, engaging products + services. I lead creative teams of all flavors in tackling tough business challenges to get the right solutions out into the world. I love playing at the intersection of Design and Business because that is how Design can truly influence the definition and delivery of experiences with maximum impact + the right outcomes.I am equal parts design-thinker + design-maker with an ability to bring focus, clarity, and action to the fuzzy world of Strategy. I believe in going out in the field to get my hands dirty and getting neck deep in the context of a problem. I’ve spoken about the creative value of immersive Design Research here in the US at the Ross School of Business, and on the other side of the globe at the iHub Tech Innovation Center in Nairobi.The early days of my career as a Product Designer, I developed and shipped first-in-industry, award-winning products for companies such as Nike, Apple, Vans, and Wild Planet Toys - and had a total blast along the way. My secret power is synthesizing human insights, design possibilities + business constraints into strategic imperatives + compelling experiences.
