In my professional and avocational lives, I’m a change manager and builder. Professionally, I anticipate, advocate for and plan for change of all kinds. As a volunteer, I support marketing, communications, and fundraising efforts..I’ve transformed onboarding, learning and training programs to be more accessible, ubiquitous, and engaging. I’ve led learning management systems adoptions and implementations, from collaboratively gathering requirements to evaluating candidates to testing the delivered system. I’ve crafted and managed websites and participated in cross-functional site redesigns. Then there’s the fun creative stuff: videos, graphic design, logos, user guides. I’ve gone from idea to product in a day and nurtured programs across the years. Providing learning opportunities and training for the end users as well as content for the systems and messaging for the roll-out. I saw a headline once that said “Change management is about more than communications.” I thought, “No kidding. Who said that’s all there was to it?”Change isn’t all fun—there’s resistance to overcome, doubt, things that don’t go as anticipated, and sometimes failure. You know: “growth opportunities.”In the end, it’s rewarding to see people use the new system or site or space to learn, meet and grow. It feels good to hear someone say, “How did we ever do this before?” or “I’m glad we did this.”Let’s talk.Cat White216-789-0199
