From a joyful childhood in a bustling family to the exploration of my passions, I initially envisioned a career in cinema. However, after a year of studies in Bologna, I discovered that the seventh art wasn't my destined path.A transformative sabbatical in Australia, dedicated to mastering English, prompted a period of self-reflection. In pursuit of self-discovery, I immersed myself in the field of psychology in Fribourg for nearly two years. While the journey was captivating, the question lingered – was I ready to sustain myself solely on contemplation?In 2002, I embraced a new direction that would define my future – tourism. Successfully completing the Tourism Specialization program at the Specialized School of Hospitality and Tourism of Bellinzona (SSSAT), I embarked on a fulfilling journey. Following language stays in Berlin, I was called back by Ticino Turismo for a time-limited project, a chapter that has evolved into over 15 years of dedicated service.Reflecting on my past, I harbor no regrets; every experience has contributed to shaping who I am today. Currently, I hold a pivotal role at Ticino Turismo, overseeing foreign markets. My responsibilities span marketing, promotion, and communication across our 10 key international markets. It's an exhilarating role – my team and I connect foreign buyers with Ticino suppliers, share the region's latest updates, and engage with media and trade guests seeking firsthand experiences.
