Voluntary position within the club. Time is split between recording games, using footage to create social media content for fans & coaching staff, and producing content for & managing the running of match day live stream broadcasts. Until 2021 this also included performing customer service & technical support to paying customers.Currently manager of live stream team of 4 on match days involving producing & setting up graphics for the stream, compiling playing stats & facilitating interactions for commentators live on-air via social channels, organising & delivering refreshments for the crew, and monitoring the stream via external channels to ensure service quality is maintained throughout the broadcast.Also as production chief I lead the volunteer team on who will be carrying out which roles ad hoc & arranging to fill any gaps which arise due to illness or absence otherwise.Video production for the club includes post-game interviews, match highlights along with other published video content for the club; key responsibility of providing match video for coaching & playing staff on request, as well as providing game video to the league as per club agreement.As the club's video director I manage & maintain the video archive across multiple seasons & often liaise with members of other clubs & entities for use of our footage for news articles (both online & on television for local sports coverage) as well as control the use of that footage on social media to maintain & respect copyrights held by the club.Responsibilities run also to driving forward improvements to club's video & audio production across social channels, in particular with the live stream, so as to help the club offer a better quality & value proposition for its paying fans as well as working with the social media manager to assist in content creation & publishing.
