Since joining Green's, - Site Project Manager, at Damen Shipyard, work on boiler Valve overhaul and repairs during Dry dock on an LNG.- been involved with a leading UK Sugar manufacturer for a re-tube of a boiler on one of their sites. - Worked on a small commercial boiler re-tube of a heat recovery system

 Project Engineer on British Sugar, Wissington Site, for the installation of a New Evaporator, economisers and piping system to integrate and expand the existing HRSG system directly off the existing Boiler. I was directly involved with the structural and mechanical design and installation. Project engineer (SMSTS Reg no: 5968135) for 1 year on a new-build Biomass plant in Boston, Lincolnshire (gasification plant) from kick-off meeting to Steam blow / commissioning of all systems. In this role I was required to adapt for all three stages of construction, Steelwork erection, Boiler Mechanical equipment installation and Balance of plant (BOP) piping installation of systems. Activities range from on-site Structural design / modifications during installation, Temporary works, piping and mechanical fit-up. Project manager for crack and Corrosion repairs under class approval, repairs conducted on-board RCCL Grandeur of the seas in transit; repair plans include cracked balcony on Port & STBD sides; major structural beam repairs; P-side Fresh water tank re-plate; cantilevered section of restaurant, cracked support repairs and Viking lounge cantilever, column repair works. 2 years’ experience with 3D laser scanning (Faro technologies) and registering on-board vessels, to capture and model existing pipelines / structural / and new installations. Offshore experience 3 years (Black Rhino LNG, Las Palmas; Hercules H267 FPSO, Gabon; Jack Bates – LNG; RCCL - Freedom Class (3 vessels) & Vision class (2 Vessels) cruise liner) to carry out 3D scans and surveying activities. I have been responsible for design and fabrication of prototype deck boilers, in which I have modelled Inventor 2014/15 of superheated (dual burner), ESD and MAC-45 (single burner) boilers, and investigated innovative and economic designs, and investigated the design innovation of a removable superheater for these types of boiler to approval by Lloyds Register, DNV and ABS.

Carrying out structural, seismic, wind, snow and thermal assessments of a nuclear facility, using ABAQUS and STAAD Pro (finite element modelling softwares), carrying out hand calculations using MATHCAD and results reporting.

I was part of the "Bridge Group" within the Scott Wilson consultancy located at the Manchester branch where is was continually challenged and gained new skills within the field of engineering, construction, management of projects, team building exercises, AutoCAD design, site surveying and design of RC retaining structures and bridge design.
