Slidebean is a simplified presentation tool that lets users create slides in a fraction of the time they would normally spend on Power Point. By separating content from design, users can focus on what they want to say while the rest is taken care of automatically.Our approach to deck creation is unique. All other software alternatives to Power Point offer a similar approach: a white empty canvas where the user needs to create the content while figuring out the design, and a set of tools that require a long learning curve.The current version of the tool was developed by a 3 person team in under 6 months. Over 15,000 users have signed up as of July 14'. The startup was part of Startup Chile and DreamIt Ventures (Top 3 US-based accelerator, according to Forbes).

Through a collaboration between Slidebean and TheHustle, I worked on analyzing channel stats and understanding content opportunities to develop new video content series. I collaborated with the team, writing, directing, and hosting two content series that were released on The Hustle’s YouTube channel in the second half of 2023.

Funded in 2011, Saborstudio is focused on creating stunning interactive digital content. The studio founders have over 15 years of joint experience in design and development and are some of the most acclaimed Latin American entrepreneurs.Saborstudio is also the first Costa Rican startup accepted on a major US-based startup accelerator. As a DreamIt Ventures 2012 Alumnus selected from over 600+ applicants, the team leads the country’s tech startup ecosystem.
