Animals cannot tell us what is wrong, but they definitely show us in other ways. Currently, I am working towards gaining my Doctoral of Veterinary Medicine at Long Island University College of Veterinary Medicine. As of now, my main passions are in sports medicine of both canines and equines. I'm fueled by the communication barriers between human and animal, and how we bypass these barriers as veterinarians. While most of my time is spent studying and actively in classes/labs, I maintain extracurriculars including being a student liaison for the American Heartworm Society. I'm also an active member of various veterinary clubs, including the Veterinary Business Management Association, Student Veterinary Emergency and Critical Care Society, Student Chapter of American Association of Equine Practitioners, and more. Outside of all things vet, I'm an avid hiker, traveler, baker, and equestrian. These extracurriculars give me the perfect outlet to maintain the best mindset for excelling as a veterinary student.
