By utilizing popular social media sites such as Facebook, Blogger, and Twitter I was able to add an updated and modern aspect to the public participation portion of the grant application process.

Cuyahoga Valley National Park

This GIS Internship involved the accumulation and dissemination of a variety of different data in order to produce maps and documents that would assist in the advancement of the Conservancy's Farm and Farmer's Markets promotion goals. This involved the production of original map documents that explore a variety of different spatial relationships as per the particular goal of each project.

The University of Akron Archival services is located in the basement of the Polsky building in downtown Akron. The collection includes not only university student and faculty records, but also significant collections from Goodyear and the B-26 Bomber Group. I was able to work directly with the record manager in archives management. This detail oriented position involved direct archival work including record audits, destruction, and filing as well as data entry.
