I am responsible for leading virtual instruction for general education students as well as those in the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (DHOH) program. I collect data on the DHOH students for the lead teacher to be able to assess their progress and adapt their IEPs as needed. I attend grade level meeting to take notes and inform the lead DHOH teacher on upcoming units, testing dates, and goals. In October I administered state testing to general education first grade students and second grade DHOH students. Most recently I have begun leading a reading intervention group for general education students before school.

Bentonville, Arkansas

I worked with a wide variety of special education students while employed with Bentonville Public Schools. I began working with elementary students in a self contained 1:6 room. Here I was responsible for teaching all subject areas to students ages 5-9. In addition to teaching them curriculum matter, I was also responsible for helping students learn how to use their different communication devices such as: PECS books, LAMP, and Proloquo2go. I was assigned as a 1:1 to the fourth grade student from the elementary school, and I followed him to his middle school the following year. I was in a self contained 1:6 room in the middle school as well where there were other new students who also used the LAMP program. I taught the other 1:1 paraprofessionals as well as the lead teacher how to use and program our students' communication devices to tailor to their individual needs. I also created teaching material and data collection charts for our students. I collected and analyzed their behavior data to find ways to decrease negative behavior and to ensure they were on track to meet their academic and social goals. When the school switched to virtual learning in March of 2020, I volunteered to tutor students in the general education setting in math outside of my assigned work time. I worked with those that were suspected of needing accommodations, but had their meeting delayed because of the closures.

Blacksburg, Virginia

I was responsible for assisting members with their financial needs. This included withdrawals, deposits, loan payments, money orders and cashier’s checks. I cross referenced products to members to ensure they were getting the best use from their membership while also meeting the referral goals that were set for me. While working at the credit union I assisted members in both the lobby and the drive thru; and was frequently required to switch between the two settings to accommodate the needs of the members. I was responsible for being one of two tellers who closed the branch on a regular basis; in doing so I ensured all checks processed that day were balanced then locking and setting the timers on the vaults. Throughout the day I verified my drawer and collected checks were balanced, and corrected any discrepancies found.

Vero Beach, Florida

I was frequently sent to clients’ winter homes to walk through them and ensure: all appliances were in working condition, the house was clean, look for other issues that needed attention before a client returned. If I noticed something in need of repair I would contact the owner who would have appointments scheduled to address the issue. Once an appointment was scheduled I would meet the contractor at the property to provide access to the home. I was responsible for returning to the property towards the end of the appointment to complete another walk through, follow up with the contractor, clean, and lock up the house. Additionally I assisted the business with billing, balancing their checkbooks, and making bank deposits.

Vero Beach, Florida

I had a variety of essential responsibilities while employed at Orange LLC. My daily responsibilities included: baking and packaging hand made products, creating orange based spa products, setting up store displays, training new employees, stocking backrooms, and opening and closing the store. I would work the store front and encourage sales by sampling the products. I handed out food samples at the farmers’ market and in front of the store while wearing merchandise from the Orange LLC clothing line. I was recruited to model the clothing line for the company’s brochures and website.
