Opened in June 1982, this family owned meat market is the perfect spot to get high end meat cuts.Some of my responsibilities as general manager include , but are not limited to:-Perform duties and responsibilities of the President and CEO in their absence or upon their discretion-Overseeing production of meats including steaks, fresh ground hamburger, steaks, prime rib and tenderloin roasts, jerky, pork chops, roasts, raw and smoked chickens, ribs, and homemade sausages, deli meats and cheeses.-Understand and apply federal, state, and local laws in regards to foodservice and general employment matters-Maintaining and assuring accurate completion of various foodservice operating reports including HACCP Plans-Operating appliances include, but not limited to, bandsaw, meat grinder, sausage stuffer, industrial smoker, roaster oven, deli slicer, and sharp knives-Manage food service employees, protect quality, and provide excellent customer service-Extensive cooking knowledge for customers-Payroll management and scheduling hours for employees-Product inventory management for meats, spices, labeling, packaging, maintenance, and more-Prolonged walking or standing for 8-12 continuous hours-Frequent bending, stooping, crouching, reaching, balancing, pushing, pulling, lifting loads 100+lbs overhead-Industrial Electrical smoker repair
