I have a depth of knowledge about power generation, engineering, and project management combined with a PMP, excellent people skills, and a desire to find solutions.At Zeeco Power, I am using my years as a power plant engineer and my project management training to help companies transition from gas to coal, replace burners with new ones designed for optimal low emissions, and finding ways to make power with an eye on sustainability. During my time with AEP I had a lot of opportunities:- Managing water tower and storage tank inspections and repairs using dive crews or traditional inspection crews.- Working in support of the Flow Accelerated Corrosion prevention program directing risk-based inspections and assessments, performing inspections, and analyzing results to guide repairs and monitoring needs.- Attending training at the National Board for Boilers and Pressure Vessels and obtaining my IS and R endorsements and recently returning for an O endorsement. I am working with our current Owner-User Inspector Supervisor to learn our program and take over as the Inspector Supervisor upon his retirement. - Performing boiler and pressure vessel inspections. (These plants are really super complex giant machines!)- Learning about and managing performance and heat rate tests on my boilers, monitoring equipment performance, troubleshooting, performing turbine audits. - Always learning about project management and using pm tools to help my projects succeed.- Using data to troubleshoot turbines, pumps, air heaters, and other equipment and finding ways to bring them back to original performance. - Participating in outreach opportunities such as mentoring an elementary robotics club and participating in the Tulsa Engineering Foundation’s TECh event each year.
