Oversees the accounting function by forecasting for upcoming periods, monthly and year-end closings, benefits administration, payroll administration, accounts payable, accounts receivable, invoicing, external audits, coordinating with external tax firm, reporting and management of accounting personnel.Job Accountabilities: • Handle all incoming and outgoing cash flows• Record keeping of all transactions and financial contracts using QuickBooks, Excel and hard copy filing.• Ensure accurate and timely inventory management• Reconciliation of bank accounts and balance sheet accounts• Analyze strategies and initiatives for risk and return• Serve as contact for banking, merchant, processing and HR services• Ensure compliance of payroll and labor laws• Handle all insurance (General Liability, Workman’s Comp, Unemployment) needs• Contribute to development of marketing, financial and management strategies• Deliver accurate financial statements and reports to management and shareholders
