Courtney became an English Fellow with the US Department of State in 2024. With over ten years of K-12, university and international experience, she works as an English language lecturer and as a teacher trainer. She is also a Cambridge DELTA candidate. Courtney is currently pursuing a PhD in education with concentration in English language learning and is now considered ‘ABD’. Studies and modules in the United States, Türkiye, Greece, The Netherlands and Romania are the foundations of an in-depth interdisciplinary and multilingual preparation. She also serves on the leadership team of NAFSA: Association of International Educators, and holds the title of Intensive English Program Coordinator. A sought-after keynote speaker, Courtney enjoys curriculum development and design, spearheading conferences, championing humanitarian causes and raising awareness of native speakerism in the field of language teaching.
