Primarily responsible for the strategic development and execution of a number of fundraising events with a focus on annual giving, major gifts, sponsorship, planned giving and graphic design/communications.• Managing multiple fundraising activities • Support fundraising efforts increasing donor and member engagement by maximizing brand messaging through a variety of communications channels with a focus on social media and marketing tactics.• Working with the Raisers Edge Database• Work collaboratively with 11 branches across the Province to support fundraising and third party activities• Create and publish press releases - managing media relations for the organization• Development of marketing and fundraising event material as needed• Conduct donor research and oversee major donor data management both in‐house and external• Develop and coordinate prospect cultivation strategies including prospect review and strategy sessions• Develop, lead/support and monitor planned giving solicitation • Identify and solicit new corporate and foundation partners • Develop proposals, briefing notes, case statements, presentations, progress reports and other documents/materials in support of the cultivation and solicitation of donors and prospects• Assist with the recruitment and training of fundraising volunteers and support their efforts to cultivate, steward and solicit major and planned gift donations• Prepare gift agreements and acknowledgements• Implementing donor stewardship and communication strategies• Planning and implementing special projects and donor recognition events• Set budgets, performance targets and evaluation metrics• Maintain up‐to‐date knowledge of major gifts, planned giving vehicles and the tax aspects of these vehicles, as well as general knowledge trends and legislation affecting philanthropy• Produce graphic materials for organizations website and various promotional components
