My Backstory:Back in 2006, I was living in the Virginia Beach area after graduating from Christopher Newport University. As an English/Technical Writing major, I landed a job writing resumés for transitioning military personnel at a small career counseling agency. One day, bombarded with a heavy workload, the company asked me to put my writing background to use on an important advertisement that was past deadline.The ad turned out to be a major success, and I was instantly hooked on marketing. The next thing I know, I was meeting and consulting with clients, closing sales, and actively participating in business development efforts.Fast forward to the present day, I am now the Director of Marketing for Taradel LLC. The company has more than ten thousand customers, including strategic partnerships with national brands and international organizations. And, we're one of the few companies to ever make the Inc. 5000 for ten straight years!To date, my efforts in sales and marketing have generated more than $10M in revenue.
