My wife Charlotte and I married in 1980. We have three children from our previous marriages, six grand-children, and lots of nieces, great-nieces and nephews.Professionally, I am a retired entrepreneur who recruited executive management during the 70's, 80's and 90's. My skill was to invade the corridors of power at the behest of others, and headhunt talent. Another skill of mine is language, which I believe came naturally. I continue to learn and study everyday. I began with French as a child, German as young adult in Germany, and now Spanish to help others in their daily struggles. Some Latin and Greek helps keep my mental molecules connecting like they should.In the 60's I was an import/export sales manager responsible for Europe and the Far East, living in Frankfurt am Main, Germany. I sought the wonder of world travel as an excitement in my life, like others who chose to pursue technical endeavors. My most recent travels include: Hawaii, Israel and short trips around the south eastern US.In 1979, I founded an information services company, Charles Bernard & Associates, Inc. We specialized in Retained Executive Search; - Xukor Inc., a pre-employment Referencing & Screening company, that did due diligence for mergers and acquisitions as well; Employers Mutual of Georgia, Inc, an automated database service for retail employers; Civil Recovery Inc, a national service for asset and loss recovery for retailers; An Automated Windows Criminal Checks and Automated Telephone Background Checks for Large Retail Stores.The Xukor Company, the largest of the corporations, was sold in 2002.
