Our team assisted Allseas in “shaping up” their reporting and operational intelligence capabilities as part of developing a modern Data Platform combing cloud-based and on-prem/vessel resources. Within our six-week cycle, our team was responsible for delivering:- A migration path for moving away from a legacy reporting system- A distributed workflow orchestration system capable for handling current and future data engineering needs on the vessels.

Consulted multiple data & analytics workload teams to investigate, triage, and optimize streaming data pipelines for AWS marketplace focused on the Commerce domain- Developed a streaming pipeline based on Apache Kafka and ksqldb to optimize an integration use-case between ERP/CRM systems. The optimized integration pipeline realized an improvement from ~30 minute to sub-minute end-to-end latencies.- Led the development of a self-service infrastructure deployment framework that supported multiple workloads in deploying Kafka resources to a shared Confluent Cloud environment.- Assisted in defining the scope of managing Confluent Cloud within Brenntag as a member of the newly formed Global Data Platform team. Defined the role-based access control and resource automation strategies for enabling workload teams within their streaming use-cases.

As team lead for a short data science consulting project, I was responsible for the investigation, analysis, and delivery of a solution that was able to handle the data segmentation required by the client.- Optimized a Machine Learning application based on the FP-Growth algorithm to enable analyzing data sets that were previously intractable- Our data science team's expertise and collaborative approach enabled FrieslandCampina to overcome the challenges posed by the recommender system’s performance issues while prioritizing explainability and transparency throughout the process

Led a team of three Data Engineers in implementing a greenfield Data Platform. Designed and assisted in the implementation of the Azure Landing Zone based on Microsoft’s Cloud Adoption Framework. Assisted in hiring for internal leadership and engineering roles, and was instrumental in the hand-over to internal Milence data team(s).- Architected a Data Lakehouse platform based on the Databricks Unity Catalog for data governance, currently used by small group of Data Analysts and Data Scientists- Led the design and development a the data ingestion pipeline for a wide-range of data sources, including ERP, CRM, custom data sources related to the e-Mobility space.- Ensure a secure DevOps environment for the team using infrastructure-as-code based on Terraform and Azure DevOps.

At REDstack I am a data analyst and researcher in our development team.REDstack’s focus is on the innovation, development, and commercialization of renewable energy and water treatment solutions, namely using reverse electrodialysis (RED) and electrodialysis (ED). My overall objectives and responsibilities include:* Maintain facility operation, experiment scheduling, and performance analysis* Analyze historical (time-series) sensor data to optimize operational efficiency at the Afsluitdijk pilot facility.* Develop theoretical tools and predictive models to assist future RED stack development.

Jilimbí, Bolivar, Ecuador

I worked on two different projects over the course of three months. Initially, I generated GIS data files from GPS points and tracks, and generated maps of the surrounding communities for planning purposes of CRACYP. The maps included communities, places of interest, and larger cities in the area. Areas of farms owned by a few members in the community were also calculated in ArcMap.The second project I worked on was based on solving the communities consistent problem of water availability and quality. I designed and constructed a small water treatment filter for the intern house in the rural community of Jilimbí. The filter is a pilot study to determine the effectiveness of slow-sand filter treatment technology in the coastal environment of Jilimbí. The results from this study will help to design a full scale project for the community of Jilimbí.
