Biweekly, I design and research to create helpful wellness posts for girls in UNC Kappa Delta Sorority. I also serve as a health and wellness support to any girl who may need it.

As a Study Abroad Peer Ambassador, I work with students to help encourage and plan study abroad programs. This includes program search and class selection. I will attend Study Abroad 101 Info Sessions, one-on-one mentor meetings, and Peer Ambassadors' events such as Pit Sits and panels on special topics.

I worked as the head of the Greek Relations team helping to communicate with UNC sororities, fraternities, and local Chapel Hill organizations to coordinate times to set up and sell jewelry. The Jewels of Hope fundraiser raised $902.15 for the Orange County Rape Crisis Center!

I worked with a team to assist customers, address concerns, and provide a nice dining experience. I used problem-solving skills to resolve conflicts with customers and correct errors. Also, answered calls, took orders, ran food, cleaned, used coffee machine and baked.

I learned accounting processes including payroll, accounts payables, and receivables. I assisted with office work: answering the phone and emails, imputing data, making copies, and filing records. I also completed monthly QuickBooks reconciliation

My two best friends and I started a camp called Shirley Girly Camp that we ran every summer for 6 years. We developed this business for young girls to have a fun camp experience while encouraging female empowerment. We planned out the schedules for each day including activities, snack/water breaks, check-in, and pick-up times. We gathered and bought materials for crafts, experiments, and games. We used flyers and email communication to spread the word about signing up. Each year we would gain more experience and maturity allowing us to include more campers and charge more per person. In our final year, we had 15 campers between three counselors, ages 6-12. This taught me many beneficial skills such as time and stress management, organization, how to handle emergencies gracefully, financial responsibility, and the basics of running a business.
