Associate Professor in Regenerative Orthopaedics at the Orthopaedic Research Lab and Comparative Medicine Lab at Aarhus University

Aarhus Regenerative Orthopaedics Symposium (AROS) is an initiative created to bridge the gap between clinicians and basic scientists and between orthopaedic subspecialties in regenerative orthopaedics. The 1st AROS was held August 2015 at Aarhus University, Denmark and focused on orthopaedic regeneration in the ageing population. The forty-six participants came from 9 countries and included leading experts including Mats Brittberg, Andreas H. Gomoll, Jack Farr, James Hui, James Richardson, Sally Roberts, Jill Urban, Daisuke Sakai, James Edwards, Wei Seong Toh, Moustapha Kassem, Catherine Le Visage and many others.

Introduction year in the orthopaedic residency program. The position is combined with an academic appointment as assistant professor in orthopaedics at Aarhus University.

Fellow at the Tissue Engineering Lab at the VA Medical Center, Brigham and Women's Hospital and Harvard Medical School.

Working on spinal fusion, synthetic bone graft materials and imaging of bone regeneration.

Assisting spinal surgeries such as decompressions, fractures, instrumented and non-instrumented fusions (PLIF, ALIF, TLIF), tumor resections and reconstructions, scoliosis etc. More than 850 hours of experience.
