I have travelled off the beaten path in my career starting as a scientist and then growing into a business leader beginning with an MBA. Recently, I launched a boutique consulting firm, CBG Consulting, to help businesses optimize their processes, analyze data, and design new programs.As a recent graduate from Carnegie Mellon University, Tepper School of Business, I earned concentrations in Quantitative Analysis, Operations Management, and Organizational Behavior. I honed my consulting skills in (1) the Pro-Bono Consulting Club where we worked with the Forte Foundation to design a new program and (2) the AT Kearney Strategic Management Enterprise Capstone where we worked with Wesco to design an optimized network for their supply chain. As the Forte Ambassador for Tepper, I helped organize and lead the 2nd annual Tepper Women in Business Conference. I started my career as a research scientist studying how cancer arises. My scientific experience enabled me to work as a freelance consultant doing primary market research in Brazil. During my MBA internship, I worked in the Chief Strategy Office at Mylan Pharmaceuticals where I built a proposal for new opportunities and analyzed the current market landscape for entry into Latin America.One of my biggest passions is the effect we have on our environment and this led me to initiate projects in my community to help educate others about reducing energy and waste. I was a member of the Green Laboratory Team at MSKCC working to improve sustainability and minimize waste in laboratory environments and founded and operated a composting program for Rockefeller, Sloan Kettering, and Cornell in the Upper East Side of Manhattan.
