Achieve Sports facilitates community driven sports leagues to encourage physical activity and socialisation. My role resided within the netball division of the company, where I was required to manage over 30 leagues and their staff across the U.K. Additional responsibilities included creating personalised marketing strategies and retention schemes, to encourage further expansion of the leagues. My role required me to have excellent time management and organisational skills, as I was often assisting over 90 staff members and their leagues to ensure that they operated effectively. I thrived on the responsibility and targets demanded by the role and always aimed to exceed expectations.

My internship with GB Hockey provided invaluable experience within the performance sport environment. Through early demonstration of my capability within the department, my role’s demands and objectives significantly increased. I was entrusted with the creation, production and delivery of numerous new initiatives. This included directing and producing promotional video content, the implementation of social media campaigns and ensuring the successful delivery of large scale events (Women's Hockey World Cup 2018, Futures Cup 2018). I was responsible for the management and direction of these projects, which involved continuous communication with both internal departments and external companies to ensure deliverables were met. The internship provided a foundation to further refine my interpersonal skills and apply these to a fast paced and dynamic work environment.

Coaching at The Bourne Club provided a variety of exciting opportunities, including both working within the high performance and the junior groups. I was responsible for planning and delivering the sessions, ensuring a quality experience tailored to each group. My leadership and motivational skills were often utilised to ensure the environment was optimum for learning and enjoyment. I revelled in the creative element of the role, consistently seeking new methods to improve my coaching ability.
