Automotive and control systems have been a life long passion for me. Determined if current detection thresholds were sufficient for current calibration. Proposed countermeasure for detection issue.-Coordinated mileage accumulation of several prototype vehicles with new development engine. Worked closely with technician and engineering groups to identify milestones, adjust deadlines according to prototype delays, and determine requirements of each vehicle's accumulation.-Began calibration of rich imbalance monitor for 15MY. Determined if current detection thresholds were sufficient for current calibration. Proposed new thresholds to prevent misdetection when there was sufficient signal-to-noise ratio.-Developed prototype thermal imaging apparatus to assist in calibration of catalyst over-temperature monitor. Worked with technician group to get components fabricated and receive feedback on early stage design concepts.
