As Asia Coverage Editor in Bangkok, I am responsible for assigning and editing stories from dozens of VOA correspondents and stringers throughout Asia. On web, social, radio and TV, we cover a variety of stories, including the big daily news items as well as pieces that focus on emerging trends in the areas of politics, diplomacy, economics and culture. Previously, I was responsible for writing and editing news and feature reports for the East Asia and Pacific region. In addition to writing and editing stories generated from central news, I identified, edited and made available reporting done by our 11 East Asian language services.
